A while back we butchered a steer. I say "we" butchered the steer, when in fact we took the steer to someone to do that for us. And he sent it back to us all nicely packaged. What a nice guy. We brought it home in ice chests, and brought it in the house to load it in the freezers. That is when someone decided he needed to guard the beef.
Oh Mia is getting too close. Hoss is growling. I don't know if you can tell by the look on his face, but he is not letting anyone near the beef. Not even the cat.
He loves beef. He is licking the ice chest. (These images are really bad, I was laughing so hard I could hardly hold the camera straight.)
He is so funny. He must have gotten tired. But don't let the sleeping dog food you. If anyone got too close he would start growling and even show his teeth.
He didn't give up. He stayed there until I got all of the meat put up. He never growled at me, just the other animals. It was his beef.
