Weather, flooding, etc.
We have had 9 inches of rain in just a few days, that is not including the other 6 or 7 in the previous week. We have had a lot of rain! I hope to have pictures of our ponds soon. They are no longer dry, or even low. They are over flowing.

WOW! A whole year has flown by since I started this little ol' blog thingy. I had a really well written post for today, but we had quite a bit of rain this morning and the internet wasn't staying connected. McD isn't feeling well today so I went out and did the chores, okay I fed the dogs and cat but chores sounds like more work. HA! Anyway, after doing that I just abandoned the whole ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY post. So you get stuck with this...
A year ago my friends (except for Ree) and family didn't even know that blogs existed. I was a full time student wondering if I would ever graduate. I stressed about finding a job. Babe got stuck in the mud, I can't link right now I don't have time (sorry, I'm on my lunch break). A year ago I didn't have the bluddy's that I have now!
I hope to keep this crazy thing going. I can't wait to see what the next year brings. Thanks to all my loyal readers out there, and thanks to the lurkers too. You keep my sitemeter numbers up a little. Maybe in the following year I can get a few more lurkers to delurk!

Just so everyone knows, I will be rotating the new mastheads. I just needed to figure out a way to start it out. That is where you guys come in. I won't be announcing when I will be changing them so you will just have to stop by. The winning masthead will be first and will be up on Monday, but after that who knows.

To Blog or Not to Blog, that is the question. Here lately I have been very busy, not that each of you aren't busy, it is just that I haven't gotten into a routine just yet. I have to be in some sort of routine. Since I have been out of school we rarely stay home. I don't have my head buried in a book, studying for a test so I am off galavanting with McD. We check and feed cattle together, work together, etc. I am now searching for time to blog. So, I am only going to post Monday through Friday, with an occasional post on the weekends.
Now I have to find a way to get back to reading and commenting on all of your posts. I do read, but with our internet connection it seems to take forever to comment. So, in a sense, I have become a lurker. Sorry.
In March, McD has another business meeting. Fortunately, when I interviewed for my job I told them that we already had this planned and they were kind enough to say it was okay. I love going to AZ. I love it! Especially in March! Why? It is time for baseball! I heart BASEBALL!
Last time we went to Phoenix. We rented a car, McD went to the meetings and I went to several ballgames, practices, etc. I went all by my lonesome last time. This time I have a friend to tag along. She asked me to plan what we were going to be doing on our trip. I giggled under my breath, thinking she didn't know what she was in for.
This time we are going here. We might even order an Elaine Benes Big Salad. I definately will not be ordering the "Big Unit" hot dog. Check it out!
We will also be going to the Kansas City Royals training camp. I went there last year and had a blast. You can read about it here. If you have been reading for a while then you might remember the story about the HOT Cop. Well, he was at the Royals camp. Wonder if we will run into him again. Well, McD is going to be with me this time. The first day of our trip the guys have a free day. We are all going to go to the Royals camp to see if I can see my friend's dad, Z or Zero whichever you want to call him. He is a coach for the Royals farm team. So, if the hot cop is there McD can make sure I am not flirting. HA! I told McD that I needed to take a photo of the hot cop so I could share it with all my blogging friends. He didn't like that idea. I say we leave it up to you guys. If you would like to see a photo of the HOT Cop leave a comment and let me know. I will share all the comments with McD. :) The guy probably won't even be there now, either that or he will be all fat and have hair. EWW! heehee
The next day my friend and I have the day to ourselves. We will be going to the Texas Ranger training camp that day. And who knows, we might even go to another one. We will have the whole day. I don't know if we are going to stay for a game or not, because she isn't as big a fan as I am.
I hope to have lots and lots of stories for ya. In fact, I hope to have lots of photos to go with the stories. I am not near as brave as Ree is. She will take her great big camera anywhere and take photos of everything. I don't want to draw too much attention to myself so I will probably invest in a small ELPH like camera for my Spy Cam. I will have my big camera with me as well, but like in this restaurant, I don't want to be lugging my camera around. It is a little fancy, smanchy for that. But then again, Ree did take her's to the Gala!
That is my trip in a nutshell. Baseball, baseball, rock n' roll and more baseball. Oh yea, I guess I do have to go to the dinners at the meeting. I guess we have to take the good with the bad.
