It's Just My Opinion
Well, if you watched American Idol last night then you heard the final five contestants sing Neil Diamond songs. First of all, I am a huge Neil Diamond fan. He is coming to Oklahoma in October and I seriously thought about going. With that said, I found it hard to listen to a couple of the people sing.
I disagreed with Simon on Jason's songs. I thought he did good. I really, really liked David Cook's songs, both of them. He is the winner, that is all there is to it. :) I even liked Brooke's, but I am just a Brooke fan and will probably end up buying her cds when they start coming out. Now, David A. is one of the ones I could have done without. I know he has a good voice, but I just don't like listening to it. Syesha has a great voice too, but I just don't think she did either song justice.
Like I said, this is just my opinion. What did you think?
More of Me & McD tomorrow.

I agree with you 100%. On every one of them. I think David Cook should win. Of course, I like Brooke and she did better with her songs than David A. and Syesha. Syesha has a career in Broadway if she wants it and David A. seems like he should sing for Disney World. I do like Jason too. He won't probably be the winner. But he will do great somewhere.

This is my first year to watch. I am a big David Cook fan. But am not at all fond of listening to Jason. Syesha should do great on Broadway or even a TV acting role possibly. I am old enough (Old) to remember when Brooke's style of music was very popular.

I love listening to Sayeesha. Unfortuntaly, have to disagree with you about Brooke...not a fan. I was in the beginning but now she bores me :( David A: I've always been a fan. Don't want him to win, though, because Hollywood would ruin him. He's too sweet. Jason: could do without him. I honestly think his hair distracts me too much! :) David C: the absolute winner, though he's not my favorite. I didn't really HAVE a favorite this year to be honest.

Forever In Blue Jeans is my favorite Neil Diamond song (it will be the first dance song at my wedding). I thought Jason did a great job. He sort of reminds me of Jack Johnson.
